Mijas Los Olivos 25th August 2022

Thursday we played our 4th medal game of the year at Mijas Los Olivos and was sponsored by Terry Smith.

With the course in excellent condition and some tricky pin placements it was a good test of golf and patience .

The gross comp was a tight affair in the end with the top 2 having the same score and with both having the same back 9 score it was decided on countback of the last 6 holes.

​Miraflores Golf 18th August 2022

This week , a small but motely bunch of talented golfers played at Miraflores golf club.

The course was in good condition and with slightly cooler temperatures a good day was had by all, well nearly all , when the cards had been checked and a maths lesson in adding up to 1 of the groups we had 2 players at the top with the result decided on there back 9 score.

​Santana Golf 11th August 2022

Thursday we played a pairs Texas Scramble at our home course Santana. The day was Sponsored by Gary Sparrow. 

With the format being 7 drives each and 20% of the combined handicap to come off your gross score at the end this was an enjoyable day with in the end a wide variety of scores coming in .

4th August 2022 Mijas Las Largos

This week we played at Mijas Los Lagos with TBGS sponsoring the day.
 
The course was preparing for a pro am over the weekend so was in magnificent condition (even after we had finished playing) with the greens as near to perfect as you could want to play on.
 
We had 6 guests this week who were most welcome so as well as the order of merit game being contested there was a very hotly contested guest prize contest with the promise of 1 of Andy Hassall’s finest bottles of wine as a prize, what better incentive could you want for winning.
