Today was individual stableford points and was sponsored Sue Cobb. The course was as good as I have seen it, its getting hot! Today was the first day of our season, so good luck though to all! Todays winner for the second week running was Simon Waby with 41 points of 7.2 cut to 5.5. Second was Laryy Bryne with 38 off 18.6 cut to 16.9. Third was Colin Bryan with 37 off 24.1 cut to 22.9. An unusual site was seen on the side of the 12th fairway, a member of the course staff was cutting the grass on the side of the steep bank at the side of the 17th green, all we heard was a beeping a clatter and saw the lawnmower driver and all enter the hazard! No fun for him but was very funny from our side. I wonder if he got a shot penalty?? Another good afternoon was had at the Red Dragon, thanks to Sue for the different prizes! Well done to to all the winners. Next week is Santana and the Champions of Champions final. We have a couple of important dates to remember, we have entered into a charity day in aid of wounded soldiers on the 3rd of July, please get your names down. The society is sponsoring a hole!
